Eyes closed. Full lean. Her whole arm wrapped around him, drink still in hand – she didn’t care about anything, but him. That big fat smooshy kiss says I will love you forever and ever.

She is all in. Zero self-consciousness. Not thinking about the crowd. Just loving him. And then they danced. Right there in the middle of everything. Like it was their living room. Two people so full of life.

I took this in 2023 at an outdoor concert, deep in grief. And I remember standing there watching them and feeling something I didn’t expect.

Not jealousy. Not why me.

Love. Happiness. Excitement. Hope.
