People of Virginia Beach is a storytelling project rooted in Virginia Beach.

Sharing stories. Taking photos. A local lens on real life – often compared to Humans of New York, but grounded in the coast, community, and everyday people here.

PVB is about perspective – learning how different people see the world, how they move through tragedy, and how they keep going. It also celebrates something just as important: love, returning in new forms.

After experiencing personal loss and seeing how quickly moments can disappear, the focus became simple: preserve what is real. Conversations. Expressions. Seasons of life. And the stories we assume we’ll always have time to tell.

These are not traditional photo sessions. They are story-based experiences designed to reflect a season of your life, your relationships, your work, or something you’re becoming.
